SERVICE FEE AND DISCOUNT STRUCTURE
Captain Ahab’s Service Fee is $2,000 inc. GST. Save 25% when booking 2 or more mares to Captain Ahab
The service fee relates to the provision of semen only
SEMEN ORDER FORM
Please note that semen order will not be processed before a Melfield Estate booking form and Stallion service agreement has been completed.
All orders need to be submitted the day prior please.
Collection days for Captain Ahab are Monday/Wednesday and Friday.
The agreed Service Fee is payable at 42 days positive pregnancy test.
SEMEN TRANSPORT FEE
Transport of fresh chilled semen will be charged at a fixed rate of $145.00 (two cycles) and is payable on a 30 day invoice.
Local Deliveries are exempt.
RETURN SERVICE
Should your mare have the unfortunate loss of a pregnancy in the previous year, or if the foal dies on delivery within the LFG terms, no additional collection fees are payable, however, transport costs will apply
To claim above return, communication and/or veterinary documents need to be supplied to Melfield Estate.
PRENANCY NOTIFICATION
The owner/Lessee of the mare must notify Melfield Estate at 42 Days Positive Pregnancy Test post date of service, should no notification be received, an invoice will be issued to the Owner/Lessee of the mare.
